Oh sweet summertime! Southern California really does come alive in the summertime, and I love it when I have the time to enjoy it to the fullest. I made a trip to San Diego this past weekend for a Catholic event, which took place on the beautiful campus of the University of San Diego. The weather was gorgeous, and the landscape breathtaking. I took the opportunity for some fun shoots.
I decided to wear my flowy midi skirt again because I loved the way the fabric moved with me as I walked. Instead of pairing it with a bright color as I’ve done in the past, I decided to get an early peek into fall fashion by wearing army green. The tank is actually a body-con dress I got from Nordstrom Rack. I just love how these two colors go together. Earth tones aren’t the norm for me (I think I’ve mentioned many times I’m a bright colors and patterns type of girl), but I really like how this green works with my skin tone. Accessories were kept simple, as always, with a pearl necklace and some Forever 21 studs.
