Summer 2013 Must-Haves

By Dtwobrokegirls @dtwobrokegirls

36 degrees, no wonder why we are nearly fainting from the summer heat. Most of us would want to stay in the in an air conditioned room or bum in the mall to keep us cool.  The best way to beat the heat for us bitten by the travel bug is to go out and hit the beach or  to leave the Metro to look for lush greens.

Girls would have to bring an entire outfit plus accessories and if you’re going to travel the next question will be what to wear?

This season we’re going to share our personal top choices from Zalora, the one stop online destination for everything fashion here in our country.

Kaiye’s Top Picks
“It’s the time of the year that I’ll be able to go out of my comfort zone, in terms of colors. Also it’s an excuse that I can wear more sleeveless tops, floral dresses and shorts! I’m loving white and orange lippy this season!”

endette

Endette’s Top Picks
“My picks includes colors that are warm and pleasing to the eyes. Not to forget patterns that can make me look taller (slimmer). These are pieces that can be used for a stroll in the park or a day in the beach.”

TOP 5 TRAVEL MUST-HAVES

Though you can see how different our personal choices are, in deciding what not to forget during our trips. Our brains unite in this one;

tf

1. VMV Armada Sport 70 Sun Block

We don’t want to burn our skin like what we did in El Nido, so this became the top 1 on our list.

2. Travel Pillow

Who doesn’t want to sleep in a long-haul flight? This buddy can save our lives from stiff neck!

3. Shades

To protect our eyes from the blazing sun and to keep our look so fashyown!

4. Headware

It can be your sleeping eye mask, headband, ponytail etc.

5. Notebook

For tracking our expenses and jotting down our thoughts while on the road

Remember, whenever going a trip regardless if it is a weekend out or an epic trip planning is essential. Bring only the essentials and review rules in air travel. We don’t want anything confiscated by airport staff.
