By Linsibrownson @CleverSpark

Hey Clever Women! We’re back for the fifth and final part of our Successful Side Hustle series. In the last couple of months, we’ve covered the four simple steps for getting your side hustle off the ground. If you’ve been following along, you have already  found your sweet spot, determined your ideal client, clarified your offer  and developed your plan. The last step is simple but not always easy.

Execute Your Plan!

Execute. Execute. Execute!

The last step is simple but it’s the thing that trips people up the most.

Execute your plan.

You have a plan. Now work the plan. If the plan isn’t going the way you want it to, re-tool the plan. Then work that plan. When you hit milestones, make a new plan. Then work that new plan even harder.

Make time for your plan.

Create a realistic schedule for yourself. Decide how much time you will devote to your side hustle and plot that into you existing calendar.

Maybe you are in no rush to quit your full-time job. That’s fine, adjust accordingly. But maybe you’re blazing to get out of that place. Make sure your plan reflects your timeline. You will have to make sacrifices. If you’re a morning person, it may mean getting up a few hours earlier to work your hustle before your day job. Or it may mean a few dozen less hours of television each week.

It will be hard at times. Sometimes it will be downright scary. But you will succeed.

It’s not called a hustle for nothing.

Happy Hustling!

I’d love to hear from you – how have you moved forward on your side hustle?
