Successful Offensive and Defensive-touches in the D-zone Per-minute (Habs Defensive-pairings)

By Kicks @Chrisboucher73
Based on defensive-pairings used in practice leading up to game 1
Data-generated scouting provides us with an exclusive opportunity. The data collected allows us to combine the totals for each player in order to communicate the potential strengths and weaknesses of projected lines, or defensive-pairings. Combining each player's offensive and defensive-touch totals with their potential partner helps determine the likely contribution of each potential combination.
It's important to remember that the totals included here do not represent these players' totals while playing together. They actually represent each player's individual totals combined. Only even-strength events were used.
The further to the right each bubble appears, the more successful puck-possession (o-touch) plays that duo has contributed in the defensive-zone per-minute of ice-time. the higher the bubble appears the more successful defensive events each tandem has produced. The bigger the bubble is, the more defensive-zone events that pairing has engaged-in per-minute of ice-time (not necessarily a good thing).
DEFENSIVE-DUOS IN DEFENSIVE-ZONE
The Gorges/Subban combination has contributed the most successful puck-possession plays in the defensive-zone per-minute played.  This shows us just how efficient Gorges and Subban are at moving the puck successfully out of the defensive-zone. It's no coincidence that they have both produced the lowest turnover-rates in the defensive-zone among Habs d-men.The combination of Emelin/Markov has contributed the second-most successful offensive-touches in the defensive-zone.
The potential Murray/Weaver combination (not seen in practice) has contributed the most successful defensive-plays in the defensive-zone per-minute; this is not necessarily a good thing, as it reflects on the fact that they have spent substantially more time defending than the other potential pairings.  The Bouillon/ Weaver duo has produced the the third-most successful defensive-touches in the defensive-zone per-minute played; only Gorges and Subban have spent less time defending than the Bouillon/Weaver tandem.
