What is the secret to great style?
Knowing what works for you and wearing it confidently.
What is the one thing you would spend a lot of money on?
A coat or handbag- these are items that can be used daily, so when you think about cost per wear they are great value.
What is the one thing you wouldn’t spend a lot of money on?
Jeans- I discovered Saba denim which I love and is really reasonably priced + they often have really great sales.
What are your top tips for looking stylish when travelling?
Plan your outfits, and think about taking a great handbag and a scarf to add a polish to your look.
What’s the secret to looking polished?
I think it’s probably paying attention to the details- accessories, jewellery, hair and makeup.
How do you balance new trends with a more timeless look?
I tend to ‘dabble’ a little with new trends by mixing key pieces with classic shapes and styles.
What is your current obsession?
Zara is absolutely killing it lately in terms of shoes- I’m really hoping the styles I am seeing in their lookbook hit Australia.
Who inspires you?
In terms of fashion, the blogosphere is a huge inspiration for me. I follow many, many blogs and check them daily. I ‘pin’ my favorite outfits to my Pinterest page for easy reference- http://pinterest.com/michellesstyle/
What’s your secret to making yourself stand out?
I think a big smile and a happy face is the way to go.
The one piece of advice most women need but don’t get?
Appropriate underwear!! Oh, and leggings are not pants ; )
What’s the best piece of style wisdom you’ve ever received?
Quality over quantity.
What is your favorite current trend?
I’m really loving floral prints lately! Nail art is another fun current trend that is so easy and accessible to anyone.
Peplums are fabulous too.
What’s the worst current trend?
Things must be looking pretty good this season as nothing springs to mind.

BLOGS! I follows other blogs through Bloglovin and Google Friend Connect and check these daily.
