Today, I’m sharing an outfit styled by Hannah of The Outfit Repeater! Earlier this month, we decided to send each other an item of clothing we struggled to style ourselves, and see what we could come up with. I love that Hannah paired this skirt with a lot of yellow; although I’ve said red is my favorite color for years and years, I’m quickly learning that I react so much more to yellow these days. I think it’s ousting red for the top spot.
While this skirt is a maxi and a bit hippie-ish, somehow I never would have thought to pair it with this flower crown. It’s such a statement piece on its own that I always think adding too many accessories will be distracting; however, Hannah really nailed it adding that little bit of flower. Ah, she knows me and my love of flowers too well!
I really love how the whole outfit turned out! I might make it my mission to find more tops to pair with this skirt, because it just needs to be worn all the time. And the primary colors mean I can pair it with so many color combinations; I think green might be the next color pairing!
Having another blogger style me is one of the best ways to jump-start my creativity when I’m stuck in a rut of wearing the same thing over and over again. You nailed it, Hannah!
