Style: Tea Meets Grunge

Style: Tea Meets GrungeStyle: Tea Meets Grunge I posted about tea dresses yesterday, so I decided to show you my styling for one of the Topshop ones. First of all excuse my bruised legs, goodness knows why but for some reason I'm covered in them this week!  I've not even been doing anything to gain bruise... not that I remember.
For this look I went with the quirky Topshop Flower Dip Heam Tea Dress.  I like this one mainly because it's different.
Style: Tea Meets GrungeStyle: Tea Meets Grunge I've gone for a grunge look with this tea dress, teaming it with a biker jacket and adding loafers.  I would suggest maybe low black biker boots, but I personally don't like the look of ankle boots on me.  I feel too self conscious as I feel they make my legs look short and chunky? I know this doesn't happen with everyone, but I can't see the point in trying to wear something that I feel uncomfortable in.  Both the loafers and the wedges look equally as good.
Style: Tea Meets GrungeStyle: Tea Meets Grunge This particular dress on initial view looks a bit old lady like, but the more I looked the more I liked.  I believe it's the pattern, but somehow it really works!  The cut is fantastic for nipping in at the waist to create that curve we crave, and to be less old lady like there is a cheeky open back! The opened back tightens up to draw you in and give you that shape.  It feels beautiful on as the fabric is floaty and sits perfectly.

Tea time anyone?
What do you think?  Would you team tea with grunge?!
