February is the month of love and I am showing some love to what I love: fashion, brocade, fur, bordeaux lip, glam....and did I mention VELVET..???
This look is a part of a three outfit series, I did with my besties. You could see their looks here and here and my other two looks here and here. This glam look was by far my favorite.
I have this thing for a pretty dress and this BROCADE dress is the prettiest piece in my closet. Now talking about this duster shirt dress, which my Insta family thought was a coat, is another piece in my closet that has gotten it's money worth. I have worn it in so many ways in the past year, that I could possibly do a whole different post on " how to style a duster shirt dress..."
Anyways, now you would ask me : "why that FUR snood ??? " I understand it is totally unexpected, but that's how it is. I love embracing the unexpected. The heavy dress with the printed coat was a tad bit over-the-top, and hence the neutral fur to ground that look a bit.
The VELVET booties were my daughter's pick. She suggested I wore em and agreeably I have to applaud her on her styling capabilities. Guess she gets it from her mommy .....- woot woot !!
