I'm all about the slow cooker all year long, but it definitely comes in handy during the summer. I throw everything in and just let it do it's thing. No oven making my apartment hot. No slaving over the stove.

I contemplated a variety of recipes to try and decided that I wanted to create a recipe that fit in with my Texas lifestyle. Easy but a little bit spicy.

That's exactly what this Stupid Easy Crockpot Chicken Verde is.

I know I say this a lot, but this recipe is SO EASY (hence the "stupid easy" in the title). You literally throw everything into the crockpot, and let it cook. Shred the chicken when it's done, and that's it.

And when I say throw everything into the crockpot, I mean two things: chicken and salsa verde. I added in a few extra spices, but that's no big thang.

Go about your day doing whatever it is you do best, and in a few hours you'll have a meal. All you have to do is shred the chicken and you're good to go!
