Songs About Leaving Home is an honest and often cathartic EP by the post-hardcore/emo band Studying. Across the three tracks (the fourth is more of a short, spoken section), you will find sincere lyrics, raw vocals and a mix of hectic guitars and delicate melodies. It is nice to see a band who are making the music they enjoy making, especially when it deals with the brutal truths of life rather than the prevalent material obsessions of chart music.
