Hey everyone!

Q. What is Strobing and How is it different from Contouring?
A. Strobing is solely focussing on highlighting the face; making the high points of your face pop so you look extra chiselled and super healthy. Strobing focuses exclusively on highlighter, applied where light would naturally hit your face like - your cheekbones, brow bones, the center of your forehead, down your nose, and on your chin. Dabbing on some liquid, cream or powder highlighting shades (one on another or will make your complexion look radiant, fresh, and healthy while giving you an ethereal oomph that is sure to turn heads, whereas, Contouring is using a concealer or powder two shades darker and lighter on certain areas of your face that helps define your features, creating the appearance of higher cheekbones and a slimmer nose and chin. Once you've applied your contouring makeup, remember to blend well for a flawless, natural look.

Q. How to do Strobing the best way?

A. I would suggest applying a generous amount of your favorite liquid highlighter to the tips of your cheekbones, center of your nose, below your brow bone, above the arch of your brows, cupid's bow and at the inner corner of your eyes and then blend well with your index finger. Further top the same areas with some powder highlighter using a fan or fluffy brush for more highlighted look or simply swipe some champagne or pale gold (best for Indian complexions) powder highlighter to create a strobed face.

Q. What products should I use?

A. I am listing down few products that are most suitable for Indian Complexions.
