Stripes Gets Fresh

Our pals at Firehouse are back with 2013′s outdoor campaign for Stripes Convenience Stores. A little explanation from Associate Creative Director, Greg Hunter:

Stripes, one of the largest convenience store chains in Texas, is known for two things: great drinks and handmade tacos. Since most of their stores are located in one of the hottest parts of the country, the giant selection of fountain drinks comes as no surprise. But the fact that some of the best tacos in town can be found inside a convenience store definitely tends to raise some eyebrows. And since Stripes’ customer base is made up of both English and Spanish speakers, the more visual the campaign could be, the better.

While not quite as fun and powerful as last summer’s Stripes campaign, these OOH ads maintain the fun factor that Firehouse has built for the brand. But let’s get real for a second. Firehouse just took convenience store tacos from disgusting to delicious.
