Steph & Rich | Engagement Shoot | Botanical Gardens | Cambridge

By Jamiegroom

29th June 2013

I first met Steph and Rich in their cambridgeshire home late last year, originally both from Norfolk they moved to Cambridge for work commitments and have lived there for a few years now.

Steph and Rich are going home to Norfolk to get married as it’s closer to friends and family and have chosen the wonderful Dunston Hall Hotel, Norwich for their ceremony and reception.  As work commitments are moving them closer to London they decided they wanted to have Cambridge as their Engagement shoot location.  I was excited to say the least when Steph called and finalised the Cambridge University Botanical Gardens for the shoot.

The drive from Norfolk into Cambridge was lovely, the sun was breaking through the clouds and the forecast indicated a beautiful day.  Meeting Steph and Rich at the gates we headed inside the botanic gardens and began their shoot.

The grounds inside are simply stunning, flowers were in bloom and the trees had blossom and the grass was freshly cut.  We started off with a walk around the tropical like garden and then headed over to the pond. Were Rich popped champagne and both enjoyed a pic-nic. Then we made use of the bee garden and tropical greenhouses. If you have never been to the Cambridge Botanical Gardens then you’re missing out, Its a “must do” visit to anyone visiting Cambridge.

I would like to thank Rich and Steph for being absolute stars in front of the camera and for letting me attend your wedding.  Im looking forward to your day at Dunston Hall Hotel, Norwich, Norfolk in late August 2013.
