Statue in Stuttgart

statue in stuttgart
This statue is located in front of Rossenstein Palace in Stuttgart, Germany.  The palace was built between 1822 – 1830 and is now home to the State Museum of Natural History.  I have no idea what the significance of the statue is, so if you know please leave a comment and fill me in, but I found it interesting that it wasn’t a statue of an animal which would seem more related to the Natural History Museum in which it stands in front of.  Regardless, I like how the clouds act as a backdrop for this beautiful statue – whatever it represents.
