This Brooklyn duo has been getting a bit of traction on the old blog-o-sphere as of late, and with good reason. They’re tapping into a growing genre of darkly blissed out production, blending gossamer melodies with just enough fuzz to sound like what your listening to might just be ripped of a tape casette someone found at a yard sale. “LA Drugs” is a morose jam, sure, but it’s heftiness only adds to the excitement about what we can expect from Starred in the future.
