Starbucks is a controversial subject... among Americans new to Paris. They tend to think Paris should stay the quaint, museumlike place in their imaginations.
French people, though, seem to love Starbucks, with its iced drinks, skim lattes, wifi, and clean bathrooms (not usually the case with Paris cafes). It's become a meeting place for kids.
There are even two at the Louvre.
