In an announcement that it has concluded filming, also came the new title for the upcoming Star Wars film: Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.
While we haven’t covered them here at Geekasms, there have been plot rumors floating around the web that have been gaining a good amount of speed, and the title seems to give a bit more credibility to those rumors.
So what do you think of the new title? Like it or love it, it’s hard to argue that it doesn’t lead to some questions (like has the Force been asleep and just discovered Starbucks) but one thing is for certain: “The Force Awakens” is a hell of a lot better than “The Phantom Menace”
