Spring Makeup Picks.

By Brightowngirl @Brightowngirl
Spring Make Up PicksNow we are in April and the clocks have gone forward I thought I would share with you some of the makeup items I will be wearing in the upcoming spring months. (I haven't included foundations as I plan to do a whole post on spring/summer bases)
I wear bronzer all year round to be honest but I do start to wear it bit more heavier from this time of year, especially if I start fake tanning. If you read my Repurchased Products post you will know I am a huge fan of the ELF Warm Bronzer but by the looks of things I won't be able to get that in the UK anymore so I decided to finally get the Soap & Glory Solar Bronzer everyone raves about.
I have only used it a few times but so far I really like it. It is fairly matte and can be applied sheer or built up, the texture of it is so soft too.
When it comes to blush I think the Max Factor Creme Puff Blushes are a must have for Spring. These really do live up to the hype and there's a color for everyone. My two favourites at the moment are Seductive Pink which is a pink/coral color and Nude Mauve which is a nude kind of sculpting blush.
For eyes I love pink/bronze or gold shades, I think they are really pretty and feminine for spring. The MUA Elysium Eyeshadow Palette is full of pink neutral shades, some matte and some shimmer to create so many different looks.
I am also loving the Nudestix Magnetic Eye Pencil in Gilt for a wash of gold color all over the lid. This gives such a lovely subtle but pretty look and it is quick and easy to use.
If I am looking to add a bit of color I love the Gosh Xtreme Liquid Gel Eye Liners*. My favorite shade is Royal Blue, I use this on my top lash line and keep all my other makeup simple. Another great shade is Lavender if blue is a bit too much.
It has to be all about pink for the lips with a more glossy finish. The Laura Mercier Lip Glazes give a gorgeous glossy shine whilst not being sticky and feeling more like a balm. The shade Azalea gives a tint of pink to lips but still keeping things natural.
For a more bold lip the Gosh Forever Lip Shine in Funky Friday is a vibrant purple/pink shade that really stands out. It has a shine finish but great staying power, so lasts on the lips well.
What are you favorite makeup items for spring?
