Spotlighting Fanfiction: A Story That Set the Standard

Posted on the 01 October 2014 by Eric And Sookie Lovers @EricSookieLover

fanfiction_bannerThere are some great stories out there in the cyberworld written by fan fiction writers. And it is all to easy to be drawn into one of them while sorting the recommendation results while trying to decide how I wanted to start my labor of love. Then it hit me… I should start with one of the best Eric/Sookie stories out there that is still talked about till today even though it has been a completed series for many years.

I am talking about Terri Botta’s Let Love In.

A story inspired from the book side of the fandom, Let Love In takes place after events in From Dead to Worse. The synopsis was simple: Eric decided it was time for him and Sookie to come to an understanding. Boy did they ever. Terri Botta created a rich universe that grew to include 3 side stories (Best Laid Plans, Kodak Moment, Life and Death in New Orleans) and a full length continuation: Hope is a Thing with Feathers.

Ive been around this fandom for a while, and every time a new reader enters the world of fan fiction  and asks where should they start and Let Love In has always been the top recommendation. To this day,

If you haven’t had a chance to read it yet its been a while since you’ve last read it, I do recommend you take the time to do so.

Happy reading!

** Terri has written several stories for several fandoms and has published 2 original works.
