Started in 2011 by the husband and wife duo of Adam and Jamie Gatchel, the Nashville based company has creativity at its roots. Originally from Chicago, Adam moved to Nashville in 2002 to pursue a career in music, and after seven successful years as a drummer, he found himself longing for a different way to work with his hands, and took to building unique light fixtures for local spots around town.
Today, you'll find Southern Lights Electric warmly lighting small mom and pop shops, restaurants, and bowling alleys across Nashville - places where these handmade fixtures aren't just lamps, but the finishing touch of an entire room.
