After a few days of taking turns in the lead Madeline Merlo eventually put on the gas and won by over 20 votes over Keith and Renee.
Seeing as we’re putting these christmas songs against each other to determine the fan favorite for 2014 we’ve decided to implement a slight format change. So rather than have Madeline Merlo, the winner of Round 1 take on the next contender we’re going to run another round of new songs and then Madeline will take on the winner of that round. After the next two rounds we’ll have two more rounds and the winner of Round 3 will take on the overall winner of rounds 4 and 5 in Round 6.
Our new contenders in Round 2 are Jess Moskaluke featuring The Lovelocks with their version of, one of my person favorite Christmas songs, “O Holy Night” taking on Brett Kissel’s cover of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”
The winner of this round takes on Madeline Merlo starting on Friday at 5pm EST.
