Something I’ve Learned While Living Here, 1

By 1258miles @1258miles
My sink has two taps, the other one is blue and the other one red. No matter which one you turn, the temperature is always the same. Usually it’s cold. But if you turn the blue one, there’s no way of stopping the water from running. You just need to wait. And twist. And wait and twist. It’s been months and I still don’t know the trick. When I go back home, I appreciate the fact that the water doesn’t taste like anything. When I return and drink the water from my own tap it makes me smile. The water is just as disgusting as I remembered it was. Sometimes when I’m talking about a friend with another one, I might mention the taste of her/his tap water and the other one knows exactly what I’m talking about. When I’m looking for a new apartment, the first thing I think of isn’t the size of the garden or the living room. First I found out if the bathroom has an electronic shower. Only the electronic shower guarantees hot warm water around the clock. The higher the apartment is the lower the pressure is. If you have long hair, I recommend you to live on the lower floors. If you’re blonde, your hair will turn yellow in a week.IMG_2836
