Soap & Glory One Heck Of A Blot Mattifying Powder

By Bbeautylove @bbeautylove

Hello one and all!

It is not often I post about a face powder but this one really got my juices flowing…

Okay, generally face powders are pretty boring especially when compared to other pressed products of the beauty world. But since my previous powder finally disappeared it was more need that want when it came to buying a new one.

I decided to splash out a little more than last time and happened upon this one from Soap & Glory. It had me from the packaging (as most S&G products do) and the fact that it was translucent just sealed the deal for me.

Not only does this look good, it also works incredibly well. It feels light yet creamy to the touch and blends over the skin effortlessly. It sits undetectable on the face all day, no tell-tale cakiness or creased foundation. It makes skin look velvety matte and makes sure everything stays where it should. My skin stayed shine free all day and rarely required a top up.

It works just as well on the forehead and chin as it does under the eyes, so there is no need to buy different powders for each area of your face (that’s just unnecessary!) .

It also comes in a fairly robust compact, so no need to fret about throwing it into your handbag on the way to work. The small puff is fine to use when you can’t take a brush with you, but it doesn’t apply the product as flawlessly.

I am constantly impressed by Soap & Glory and their foray into make up has produced success after success. A great multi-tasker than will make your skin look and feel great.

Available from Boots and Soap & Glory online. Priced £12.00.
