A mother in Lake Whetherford, Texas told police that her toddler son and daughter were playing in a “back room” when they got away from her care. Moments after, she found them dead in her car. The two children died after they were left locked in a car as temperatures climbed to 96 degrees according to the report.
The mother reportedly searched the house before she discovered the two children, who seemingly locked themselves inside a car parked on the property. She busted the front window and broke into the vehicle, but the pair were already unresponsive,
“This case is in the early stages of investigation,” Parker County Sheriff Larry Fowler said. “Any comment regarding this case at this time, would be an assumption, until all of the facts are gathered.”
This case is still being investigated.
