The spectacular view from the top of Mt Snowdon in North Wales has been voted the Best View in the UK, in a new poll commissioned by Samsung.

Over 2,500 people were asked to pick from a longlist of locations around the UK, chosen by a panel of leading travel experts. The study was run to coincide with the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone, which features a premium camera and large ‘Infinity Display’ screen.

All four corners of the UK feature in the top 10, with sights such as Stonehenge (England), Glencoe Valley (Scotland) and Giant’s Causeway (Northern Ireland) joining the view of Llyn Llydaw from the summit of Snowdon in Wales.

The list includes areas of outstanding natural beauty along with man-made structures and cites, both ancient and modern.
