I normally spend my Saturday mornings huffing and puffing (in agony) in step aerobics class, but last Saturday, I was huffing and puffing (in excitement) over the new and upcoming Artist Plexi-Gloss range from Make Up For Ever (nah I didn’t ditch my exercise class – the instructor must have been huffing and puffing as she went on her annual very-happening holiday trek in Nepal (or the Himalayas) or something equally exotic. :D
Anyways, the product will be available next month (2 April), but here are all 35 shades swatches and labelled so you can decide which ones you wanna get (at $36 per piece). :D
The range is divided into P and non-P : P is for Pearl (aka shimmery sparkly gloss), while the ones with just the numbers are the Pure colours (aka solid colours without any sparkles or shimmers).
They’re also categorised as follows:
- 100s: Nude and beige [100Ps: Nude and beige with sparkly pearly shimmers]
- 200s: Pinks [200Ps: Pinks with sparkly pearly shimmers]
- 300s: Corals [300Ps: Corals with sparkly pearly shimmers]
- 400s: Reds [400Ps: Reds with sparkly pearly shimmers]
- 500s: Artist colours [only 502P has sparkly pearly shimmers]

First impressions: Colours for the non-P ones are very strong, especially for a lip gloss. They are said to fade to a tint on the lips (but I’ll put this to the test after I try the product out and do up a proper review). They seem rather lightweight but are slightly sticky (during the swatching, they were rather hard to remove with a wet tissue, and left a slight residue that required about 2-3 wet tissues to remove). The P ones have very pretty shimmers that are wearable and not OTT. Stay tuned for my review that should be up next week! xoxo
