Duravit’s Starck 2 line was first released in 1988 with organic, water-inspired forms. Designer Philippe Starck continued the aesthetic through new pieces, including a sink, tub, and shower tray. The ceramic sink (shown here) was inspired by the shape from the original Starck 2 series, but elongated into a delicate oval with a flat base.
