Georgia Teachers Fistfight In Classroom While Kids Look On
A teacher and a teacher’s aide at Stone Mountain Middle School just outside Atlanta, GA got into a full-blown brawl in the corner of the classroom while the kids worked on an assignment.
SMH! We’re guessing they were having some heated words, since one of the kids thought to pull a phone out and press record, but no word on what exactly led to this shameful display. Honestly, does it matter? Educators should be an example for the kids on how to properly handle conflict…not how to perfect a right hook.
Either way, WSBTV reports that the women were both arrested and charged with disorderly conduct in a public space. The school reportedly issued the following statement:
“The interaction and conduct in the video is completely unacceptable and contrary to our district’s tenets and core principles.
Those staff members that participated in the conduct have been removed from the learning environment.”
The teachers are still employed at the school while the investigation goes on. They’re just not allowd around the kids (or each other, hopefully). We’re pretty sure someone’s getting fired around here…
