Slow times at Clogs and Tulips
Not much has been going on on the blog in the last few months. Or Twitter or Facebook for that matter. However, that doesn't mean that things have been quiet on my end. Far from it!
So why haven't you been hearing from me?
First of all, back in November we put our house on the market. Seven months and three viewings later and we finally have a buyer!
The thing is, he wants us out by September 30th of this year. So we're now scrambling to find a house or, at the very least, a place to rent in addition to all the paperwork, taxation reports, contracts, and meetings necessary to seal the deal.
As if that weren't enough, we discovered in April that we are expecting. Baby Cloggie should arrive sometime in December. And, like so many of the women in my family, I have been 'blessed' with an extrememly brutal bout of morning sickness that seems to be covering the morning hours in all the time zones across the world.
So, needless to say, I haven't been able to do much of anything either because of busy-ness or debilitating nausea.
I have, though, seen glimpses of light at the end of the tunnel, so you most certainly have not seen the last of me! Over the next few weeks, I will probably continue to post just once a week. Some of those posts may be resurrections of older posts on the blog while others may be quick pit stops to share the latest article, news, or random thought.
As soon as I can, I will return to a 'normal' schedule of posting 2-3 times a week.
You may have also noticed something else...
I haven't been responding to any of your comments.
It's not because I don't love you or value what you have to say. I do read all comments to the blog and love hearing from you.
But, for some reason, Blogger is acting up and I am unable to reply to anything. I automatically get logged out as soon as I leave my dashboard and the comments section is not recognizing my log-in information.
I'm hoping this gets resolved soon so I can respond to all of your comments. Until then, please know that I am still reading them and still feel like a kid on Christmas morning when you leave them. And, if you have any troubleshooting recommendations, please shoot them my way!
