From the Facebook Event Page:

Hey Slice of Life Comedy friends! We are happy to announce that the super funny Jarrod Harris will be the headliner for our Anniversary show on Saturday 10/12. M Dickson, who we had previously booked for the show is unable to make it, but we look forward to having her back at the OrangePeel in the future. We can’t wait to party with everyone on the main stage! Food by Neo Burrito, music by Mystery Cult.

We will be celebrating on the main stage of The Orange Peel on Saturday, Oct. 12th at 8:30pm!

Over 20 million people have seen Jarrod’s popular Action Figure Therapy characters and most recently the series was named LA Weekly’s “Top Comic To Watch in 2012″. His character Jungle was also featured on the front page of the Huffington Post Comedy section in 2011. Jarrod has also been seen on TBS’ Lopez Tonight and Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham.

“Jarrod harris‘ act is an oddly comfortable mix of trailer-park filth, comic angst and hipster irony. While his style may fit into several categories along the comedy spectrum, his clever writing only fits into one: funny.” Noah Gardenswartz – Creative Loafing.

This event will be hosted by Comedian Kelly Rowe.

Special line-up of local and regional comics as well including Tails Rogers (Taylor), Charlie Grey, Art Sturtevant & more!

Food by Neo Burrito! And special cake and cupcakes!
Mystery Cult will be playing music from 7:30-8:30pm.

I performed on the first ever Slice show. Hard to believe it’s been two years already. Congratulations Michelle and Kelly and I hope you continue to bring great comedy to Asheville.
