Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition will run at 1080p/30fps on both PS4 and Xbox One, Square Enix has confirmed to VideoGamer.com.
United Front Games is handling both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions itself, Square confirmed, with the power of the next-gen consoles apparently letting the developer squeeze in 25 per cent more NPCs onto Hong Kong's city streets.
Each of the main characters have received tweaks to their character models, too, which Square claims has led to improved faces, while the number of objects in the environment has been increased to provide more items to smash during fights.
Outside of the visuals, Square says that tweaks have been made to the game's physics and vehicle handling. Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition launches on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on October 10.
