Sl0tface – ‘Take Me Dancing’ Stream

Sl0tface Norway band Take Me Dancing Soundcloud

Sl0tface have the knack for creating irresistible pop-punk tunes that instantly lift your mood and will have you beaming from year to year. In their latest single, ‘Take Me Dancing’, they provide an ode to lost youth (who didn’t have unfulfilled dreams or breaking into a public pool?), having fun and dancing your cares away at the weekend. Imagine Andrew W.K.’s love of partying but dosed up on Prozac and sugar-filled sweets and you’re halfway there.

A really positive song with a wonderful message, there’s an exuberance not only in Haley Shea’s vocals but also the addictive bassline and the perfect hooks. Haley demands ‘Please take me out dancing this Saturday night’ and you’d be a fool to let her down.
