At least six people were burnt to death while several others sustained burn injuries as fire broke out in a in a plaza on Abbot Road near Lahore’s Lakshmi chowk in wee hours of Sunday.
According to rescue sources the fire was caused by short-circuit.43 people were rescued from the five-storey building on fire.
The injured people were rushed to nearby hospitals where four victims are said to be in critical condition.
After four-hour struggle the fire fighters succeeded to extinguish the fire.
