June 2013

This Pave Hawk kick up a bit of dust as it arrives for the HeliFest helicopter event put on by the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos, CA.  This aircraft came from the 129th Rescue Wing at Moffett Federal Airfield, where the HH-60G Pave Hawk’s core mission is search and rescue.  The Pave Hawk was introduced in 1982, and is a highly modified version of the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk operated by the US Army.  Nikon D500 w/18-200mm, processed with Aperture.
