Show your support staff some appreciation

When you own or run a business, it's easy to forget just how important each of your staff members are. Sure, you can measure the worth of your sales staff but what about other support staff that take care of all those small, yet vital, details? Take a moment to consider all the flack your PA gets every day while shielding you from the constant onslaught of phone calls. Not to mention planning such things as corporate meetings, flights, and just about anything you need at the drop of a hat! Now think about how you managed when your PA was either off sick or on vacation. It's probably not something you think about with fondness!

Now, considering everything they do for you without hesitation, it's only fair that they be shown some kind of appreciation from time to time. Not only will you make them feel good but you will also benefit because they will be even more motivated to make sure that you are happy.

Fresh flowers are perfect for brightening up any office space and they will certainly make any of your support staff smile. The key is to try to pay attention to any hints or clues you can find regarding their personality. Do they have a favourite colour? How about a favourite flower?

Even if you can't figure out any of their favourites, you can still send flowers. All you need to do is browse and look for the brightest, most cheerful bouquet you can find! Dahlias and gerbera daisies are known for their vibrant colours and grand displays of beauty. You can send just about any colour you like but, if you want to play it safe, look for a mixed bouquet! Avoid sending a single colour (like red or pink) because this could send the wrong message. A mixed bouquet comes across as more friendly and less romantic.

Also, as tempting as it might be to send a massive bunch of long-stemmed flowers, you need to consider the size of their office or desk space. Small offices or office spaces that are limited are not the best place for displaying such a bouquet. You're better of sending a smaller, yet elegant and thoughtful bouquet.

The best part of all is that, no matter how busy you are, it's easy to order flowers online. There's no need to visit your florist every time you want to buy flowers. Place your order online from the comfort of your own office or even at home. Browse through the various arrangements and have the bouquet delivered directly to your offices for the recipient's attention.
