Shopping for and finding shoes for the fashion show in January -NOT as fun as it may sound! lol
I spent 4 hours trawling Paris for 3 Pairs of matching shoes in sizes 40,41,42. No easy task , I tell you. Apparently 3 times the same shoes is too much to ask for most highstreet retailers and many independant stores do not refund (afterall, what use do I have for giant shoes after the show?) no matter the sob story you give about you trials and tribulations as a designer who wants to win a Competition.
Adding to the headach, one of my Models is teeny tiny, so trying to balance shoe hight, style and size is soooooooo hard. Any budding Fashion designers out there, be ware, it is NOT an easy job!
However I did get to spend the day looking at beautiful shoes and imagining my collection up there on the catwalk :)
