Shark and I spent a while watching videos by this dude “TheFatherlongLegs” on YouTube last night. He mashes together clips from all sorts of weird sources—a 60 Minutes documentary on the initiation rights of a female gang in Los Angeles from the 1980s, footage of Betty Page blowing bubbles in a bathtub, ladies wearing sequined bikinis, shaking their hips.
The one above is set to a song I really like. The band sounds like Animal Collective, and they are virtually invisible on the Internet. The video isn’t as pretty as some of the others, but it gets awesome when the music starts matching to the beat of the dye job wearing the leather pants.
