Summer break is almost over and we are getting ready for back to school. This year I will have a 6th grader, a 5th grader and a 4th grader. Isn't that insane? Along with buying school supplies and uniforms, I always make sure my kids get fresh haircuts. Sometimes it's just a trim, sometimes they want a completely new look. The Share-a-Haircut program was created by Hair Cuttery to give free haircuts to underprivileged community members, specifically kids in need as they head back-to-school. Since then, they’ve expanded the program to touch people of all ages. This being the 18th anniversary of the program, Hair Cuttery is determined to donate tens of thousands of free haircut certificates.
To date, the Share-A-Haircut program has reached more than 2.16M people with haircut certificate donations, valued at $35 million!!!
From August 1-15, for every child up to age 18 who purchases a haircut at one of Hair Cuttery’s almost 900 salons, one free haircut certificate will be donated to an underprivileged child in that same community. So our family alone can help donate 5 certificates!!
