Sephora Collection Silk Shadow Quad

Sephora Collection Silk Shadow Quad
I really do not know why I bothered giving the Sephora Collection shadows another chance; I just don't like them. I had hoped that this new release would be better than their single shadows, but that is not the case. There is nothing silky and smooth about these shadows.  But I am highly picky about what  I consider to be silky and smooth. And these are not it; the shadows are a little rough and not pigmented at all. I had to build a lot of color to see my desired effect and unfortunatley, that included the beautiful blue. These shadows also had bad staying power. The copper shade faded terribly after 8 hours and used with a primer. I would have taken pictures of this fading, but I did not waste much time returning it. The only real positive is the packaging. You get a ton of product because the disk is massive as far as eyeshadow palettes go. There is also a nice mirror and the packaging itself is pretty sturdy. The particular quad I purchased was Brazilian Sea, which looks stunning when you first see it. The shades include aqua, a coppery shade, matte brown and a slightly shimmery peach. As you can see from the swatches, this quad is a major flop.
