Secret Recipe Club Turkey Sriracha Meatballs

By Fitnspicy @fitnspicy

I think we go through at least 6-7 bottles of hot sauce a year, at least 2 of those are Sriracha. When I saw this recipe on Nichole’s blog I knew Scott would love these. Meat? Spicy? And an appetizer style dinner. He was sold!

I think Nichole and Scott would really enjoy a spicy meal together. I like hot sauce but not as much as they do

These were really easy to make and I think they would be great at a party, on meatball sandwiches or just eaten for dinner like we did. This was a great pick for my October Secret Recipe Club selection.

  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 2 bunches green onions, diced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 3 tbs. Sriracha
  • 2 tbs. sesame seeds
  • 1 tbs. fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. salt

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400. Line 2 baking sheets with foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray.

2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, half of the green onions, egg, bread crumbs, Sriracha, half of the sesame seeds, fresh ginger, garlic and salt together. Form into 25-30 meatballs and place on the baking sheet.

3. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned then turn over the meatballs and return to the oven for another 10 minutes or until golden on all sides and cooked through. Make sure you rotate the baking sheets halfway through.

4. Serve garnished with remaining green onions and sesame seeds.

A mini bowl of Sriracha? Scott basically licked this clean.
