YummyFoodBook is very honoured to be invited for the SCS Star Baker Challenge 2014 held at APS lifestyle gallery last Sunday. Sadly to say I am down with a bad flu and could not make it to the event. Got to really take care of my health and stay healthy. Else I will be missing a lot. 
Nevertheless, I am going to share with my readers on who had won this year SCS star baker challenge.
After 10 weeks of intense competition, homegrown dairy brand SCS had crowned Singapore’s first Star Baker at the SCS Star Baker Challenge 2014 bake-off finals at an exclusive closed-door event held at APS Lifestyle Gallery last Sunday.

31-year-old full time mother, Jane Tan, claimed the title, beating three other finalists in a stunning showdown before a prestigious panel of judges and invited guests. The winner walked away with an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Australia worth S$5,000. She also took home a trophy, 5-Star Challenge achievement certificate, special customized SCS apron and an SCS Baker kit.

The other 3 finalists took home $1000 worth of vouchers for culinary classes at Palate Sensations as well as a trophy, 5 star challenge acheivement certificate, special customise SCS apron and a SCS baker kit.
