Eden Hall Day Spa asked me along to review a new package they’re putting together for Mums to use during school hours. How could I refuse! It was ardous work but it had to be done.
For just £39, Eden Hall Day Spa are offering the full use of all of their facilities which includes the saltwater vitality pool, outdoor pool and hot-tubs and aqua detox rooms, a delicious 3 course lunch and even a massage treatment. The package runs between 10am and 3pm and is available during September 2012. What amazing value.
So let’s take some of these facilities and look at them in detail. The saltwater vitality pool is deliciously warm with small areas of massaging jets and spa bubbles to soothe away your worries. Swim to the other end of the pool and relax in the outdoor section. If the sun shines like it did on our visit you’re in for a real treat. The aqua detox center consists of several different sauna type rooms including a rose infused steam room and salt marine room. Sit and relax and let the stresses of the week drift away. Stand in the tropical rain or let the massage jets do their work.
The outdoor hot tubs were a real highlight of the day for me (well one anyway!) mainly because the sun had started shining. Very warm and inviting, they were incredibly relaxing.
But the revolutionary massage chair which followed was just superb. Brought in specifically for the Mums Day Spa Package, this chair gives you an all over back, neck, leg and foot massage all in just 8 minutes. And whilst this is happening, a lovely therapist gives you a head or maybe hand massage too. To see what we all thought of the experience take a peek at the video:
I shared my day with 3 other lovely bloggers, Penny from the Alexander Residence, Becky from Baby Budgeting and Amanda from The Ana Mum Diary and we giggled and chatted non stop. It was a fabulous way to spend the day and catch up with friends. And if all that wasn’t enough it was lunchtime. A delicious 3 course lunch, with salad bar in a beautiful part of the building. Plenty of choice, excellent service and just gorgeous food. I tucked into a Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese starter, followed by some Thai Chicken and a very naughty Sticky Toffee pudding (it was a treat day after all). It was an amazing end to a wonderful day.
And so it was back in the car for the 25 minute drive back for the school run. We all enjoyed our day so much and vowed to do it again later in the year. So grab a few friends, book yourself in for the Eden Hall School Mums Day Spa package in September for the bargain price of just £39! You won’t be disappointed.
