Hello Metalheads! I bring you today a Symphonic Progressive Metal band from Ukraine called Scarlet Embrace, which has released a great debut album entitled “Talio”.
Scarlet Embrace band is a musical project born in 2009 which is based in aggressiveness of modern progressive music and symphonic sound with different elements giving as result a high recommended metal music.
In 2011 they recorded their first track called “The Obscure Hermetics” with the help and instructions of sound engineer, musican and composer Eduard Bikovec (EdRecords).
After sevel shows they started the recording of their first full-length album with the collaboration of Eduard Bikovec, and Scarlet Embrace made some changes in the direction of the band translating the album to English as the main language in lyrics, with the goal of search new ideas and opportunities.
In the writing process they decided to add an even more interesting detail in their sound, particularly the female vocals on permanent grounds, with the fantastic voice of Alevtina Berger which enriches the Scarlet Embrace’s music, giving to the compositions nice details and printing a more interesting a sound on their music.
The band has finally released the fantastic debut album “Talio” with a high mature and recommended metal sound which you should not miss. After listening the album, I have to say that these guys have a great sound full of different elements from Death and Black Metal to Progressive and Symphonic parts which you definitely have to listen.
Songs like “Burning One” with a nice starting, great progressive touches, symphonic elements and acustic guitars in some parts, shows us a track with a melodic, romantic and dark ground which sounds really fantastic.
“Three Coasts” is another great track in the album with an amazing folk sound, sweet female voices, nice male backing vocals and very good acustic guitars, also symphonic touches and nice keyboards completing a really nice and melodic song.
“Blood-tied Rose” have a symphonic intro very cool and displays a nice melody that quickly gives way to a great and powerful sound full of Death Metal touches, fantastic agressive voices alterning with melodic parts marked by very good keyboards.
With fantastic heavy guitars and a powerful sound with great voices full of rage, “The Obscure Hermetics” is another good track in the album, and the fantastic song “In The Name Of Fathers” with nice folk elements, amazing choruses, a great groove sound and Death Metal touches is definitely a high recommended song from “Talio” album.
“Earth’s Sigh” is also a very good song and I have to say that it’s one of my favorites tracks from “Talio”, it has a fantastic sound with great brutal voices, very good guitar melody line and nice female voices with a symphonic ground very cool.
