One of my all-time favorite hobbies is riding a bike. Ever since I was little I had one, and couldn't wait for the weekend to come so I could spend endless hours riding around my neighborhood with friends. Even though, I sporadically ride my bike in NYC, I feel it's not the same. I miss not having to worry about oncoming traffic, especially those crazy taxi cabs. For sure, that's one of the things I'm look forward to doing in my trip to Copenhagen and Stockholm—it's the best way of exploring a city and discovering all the special treasures it has to offer. Today, I embark on the much anticipated, and needed, Nordic break. By this time tomorrow, I'll be getting ready for my quest of all that awesome Scandinavian inspiration I'm craving for—of course, on a bike I plan to rent the minute I get off the plane. Since I'm going to be quite busy gathering all the fabulousness I want to share with you in the on my return, I won't be posting on a daily basis. But don't worry, you will be getting a taste of my travels through my tweets (@hedesignerpad) and instagram (thedesignerpad). Of course, some posts will be coming your way from across the pond every now and then. So stay tuned for what's to come. Meanwhile, have a happy 4th of July!!
