I've grown up from a household that looked as good as a show home this meant everything was spotless from ceiling to floor! I try to take pride in my house and the cleaning, especially as I now own it but have never invested a large amount in a vaccum cleaner.
We had one that was being held together by tape it was so old, so as you can imagine it wasn't a top priority until the one held together by tape decided to stop working. Just to highlight that I have tested Dyson vacuums and over the years possibly most other mainstream brands, but never anything by Samsung. I'm a huge fan of Samsung and a lot of my technology has been this brand purely due to the ease and quality of their products.
The Samsung VU7000 arrived in its box and the first thing I noticed was how light it was. It looked slim, compact and easy to move around. The wheels at the base of the cleaner are big and flexible helping you reach those awkward corners.
You can easily detach and reattch the main compartment to empty the dust and dirt collected. It had all elements you would naturally expect from a modern vacuum cleaner. Normally you simply have a detachable nozzle to get to those hard to reach areas, but to my delightful surprise there is a specific detachable handheld upright which I am really loving and has so far made cleaning ten times easier.
I do love a bit of technology and was fascinated to find that this particular model has a tri motor system. This consists of a 1,200-watt main motor and a second power head motor that’s actually inside the brush, then finally there is an additional 200-watt motor that powers the removable hose-free Handy Stick. I've only just tested this and my goodness it makes vacuuming the stairs so much easier!
The main vacuum cleaner has a brush motor (ideal for those who have pets) and it's been great so far. Before I found I'd have to go over and over the same spot to remove sock fluff and dog hair but I go over once and it's gone. This obviously means it has great suction - always handy with a vacuum cleaner!
For me I'm interested to see how I get on when my sisters dog, Teddy comes to stay. He malts ridiculously so white fur goes absolutely everywhere... can the Samsung VU7000 Motion 2 in 1 Sync* cope with that Teddy hair saga?! Watch this space...
