For those looking for faster connectivity of 4G network in India, Samsung has now launched 4G version of its flagship Samsung Galaxy S5 device.

The 4G variant of S5 was launched in New Delhi on 18 July. It has Qualcomm 8974 Pro 2.5 Ghz processor and supports eight 4G LTE bands. On top of all the features of Samsung Galaxy S5 like IP67 device protection that makes the phone Dust and Water Resistant, and conveniences like Ultra Power Saving Mode, Kids Mode, Gear Smartwatch compatibility etc. the 4G variant comes loaded with some extra features like Download Booster and Wi-Fi MIMO. The Download Booster allows the user to use 4G and Wi-Fi together to download files even more quickly.

As per the information I got, Galaxy S5 is the world’s first smartphone with Wi-Fi MIMO technology. It is equipped with the 5th generation Wi-Fi 802.11ac and 2X2 MIMO (Multi-Input Multi-Output) technology giving Galaxy S5 two internal Wi-Fi antennas to double the connection and enhance the Wi-Fi speed .

As a promotional offer for Samsung S5 customers, Airtel is offering 5 Gb 4G data/month free for the period of two months.
