It’s no secret that that Samsung dominates most of the Google’s Android devices. In fact, Android OS won’t be where it is today without the help from Samsung and its massive series of Android devices. Although, it seems like these two love birds will soon break up as Samsung has revealed its latest plans to join Mozilla to develop a worthy rival to Google’s Android by mashing up Tizen OS and Firefox OS.

According to ZDNet Korea, Samsung’s Chief Secretary Wonsuk Lee has revealed that company is looking to partner with Mozilla to develop its’ Tizen OS to better support HTML 5 with help from Mozilla’s Firefox OS.

Just as SamMobile points out, with the HTML5 software capabilities and Tizen OS’s ability to run smoothly even on low-end devices, Samsung could probably made the best cheap smartphone in the near future. Will this be the end of Android? Most certainly not. Google already has its’ own phone maker, Motorola to keep the company stable with affordable and high-end smartphones. However, Samsung has a way of attracting people to their devices. So, it will probably be a close battle.
