Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte) has booked the lead in an independent film called Aftermath according to The Wrap. A source familiar with the production calls it a cross between Winter’s Bone and Trainspotting. His character is described as:
”…A struggling addict who becomes obsessed with a pendant that he believes will save his marriage. When the pendant is stolen, he plunges into the seedy underworld of his small town in search of it.”
Trammell’s will be directed by Tim McCann who also did his film White Rabbit and this time Sam will also serve as executive producer on the picture. Production is slated to begin July 29 in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Congratulations to Sam on this new project!
