The lack of mistakes and little imperfections almost seemed jarring at first, but this was simply because that’s not what I’m used to — Smith is a controlled, meticulous performer and the results are nothing short of miraculous. Backed by the industry’s top vocal and instrumental talent, he paced comfortably across stage while adoring fans sang in perfect harmony.
