Hello Everyone~ If you read last weeks post you would know that I went to Washington D.C for a nice weekend retreat. One of the main vacation points was the the beautiful cherry blossoms that were blooming all around D.C. Well kind of blooming.. Anyways, I thought I would share some pictures that I took ^_^

When we arrived, the trees just began blooming, so I did not see the Cherry Blossoms that were suppose to line along the Tidal Basin. The only place that had a plethora of already bloomed cherry blossoms was the Smithsonian Castle's courtyard. I snapped a ton of pictures there, some not in this post, but will be included on Instagram very soon!
To be quite honest, the best time to go to D.C is during the week days because the weekends are OVERCROWDED with people. It is also best to go during spring and fall. Spring for the cherry blossoms and fall for the nice weather.
D.C is a great tourist/vacation place! There are various museums you can visit for free and new ones always being added. Driving is always a problem if you are not familiar with the area, so I suggest staying in a hotel that is actually in the city. It has a huge China Town, where we ate and bought a few gifts. It was a lot of fun ^_^
Tomorrow I will have a post on my short trip to Georgetown in D.C along with some photos. Til Tom.X
